Have I missed something? I just looked on oddschecker at the odds for us to sign VVD and see we are drifting and Man Utd are shortening, Is this just because Blackett has gone to Celtic and Evans has gone to WBA so it's 2+2 = 5 or is there something in it? Although I understand odds I don't bet so hope this is just people taking a punt.

Betting doesn't mean everything...just where the money is going. My opinion is that he isn't coming here....we may have thought he was, but it would have happened by now. However, I am not ITK...just a feeling.

I have also had this growing feeling for at least a couple of weeks. That maybe due to the fact that I wanted him here before Lovren turned up, and I just ain't gonna get what I'd like, or there is a thoroughly logical reason, like we don't want him or he doesn't want us.
My United mate said to me two weeks ago that he thought he'd end up at United. I hope he's wrong and the ITK guys here have some strong knowledge.
I hope you guys dont want Van Dijk for defensive reasons because he cant defend. Good ball playing centre back with decent vision and distribution, likes to step out with the ball and does it well most of the time. Defensively he is suspect against decent teams and he needs a proper defender beside him imo.
I guess this is when we find out how ITK people really are. I always think nothing can be sure unless Les or Ron say it or it's on the OS.
