Match Preview
Chris Powell has been at the helm at the John Smith’s Stadium since last September, so this represents his first full campaign in charge of the club. His first aim will no doubt be to improve on their 16th-place finish last season.
Huddersfield have collected three points from their opening four fixtures, but that doesn’t tell the true story of their campaign so far. After a 2-0 opening-day defeat at newly-relegated Hull City, Town have drawn their last three fixtures against tough opposition – Blackburn (1-1), Brighton (1-1) and Fulham (1-1).
They were only denied all three points at the Cottage last weekend by a 95th-minute equaliser, while Powell’s men are the only team to take any points off the pace-setting Seagulls to date.
The Bookies have this weekend’s hosts as the favourites for all three points.

This is Nahki Wells’ second full season at Huddersfield after joining the club in January 2014 for an undisclosed club record fee, reported to be £1.3m.
Last season he netted 14 goals in all competitions, and he has started the current campaign in fine form, netting two in four league games.
Wells began his career at Carlisle United, but it was with Bradford that he showed his eye for a goal. In the 2012/13 season, he netted 18 times in League Two to help the Bantams win promotion.
The following season, he showed he was more than capable of handling the step-up to League One as he plundered a staggering nine goals in his first eight games.
By the turn of the year he had scored 15 goals, and it was enough to convince the Terriers to pull out all the stops to acquire his services.
The 25 year-old will certainly be one to watch this weekend.
