I would say it's a classic case of a player being more suited to football in Europe.

The club was partly to blame though with the embarrassing "feed the wolf" PR. Put so much pressure on the lad.
 
Yes I agree that the "feed the wolf" thing was ill judged. I stated on here many timesin the pasy that I felt that he was not suited to the PL as he did not have the physicality. That said, if AN thinks he can cut it I would be more than happy to let him have a run and see.
 
Odd that Osvaldo isn't on there. Scored one goal (a damned good one, admittedly), then started a touchline brawl at Newcastle, headbutted a teammate and refused to play or train for us again.

Hadn't heard about that... you miss some things working in the mines in Australia.... that sounds bad!
 
I've always loved the conspiracy theory around United signing Bebe. Such a strange transfer otherwise.
