Something is definitely not right about this. Serious stomach infection 12 hours ago and now fit and ready to train?
Stomach bugs can be like that. I had one when I was younger that meant my stomach wall lining wasn't immune to my stomach acid. I was basically puking up every 2mins and couldn't stop. But after just over a day in hospital and some meds I was fine.

I know you always like to be positive, but this is an extremely suspicious situation.

Come off it, he was deemed not even well enough to travel yesterday and now is back training with the team! How are you not perceiving that as being suspicious?
It was actually early wednesday he was not deemed fit enough to travel. He has had almost two days to recover which is ample time for a bug to go if treated right.

The most surprising thing about that is that Mayuka is still hanging about..I honestly thought he left. I'm happy for him to take one on a PR role for us actually, bound to be more successful than his football career.

As for Wanyama...it seems clear we're not selling him this window so whether it was a genuine illness or not i just hope big vic can recover and get on with it asap because we need him at the moment.

I had norovirus last year. Spent 36h in rather intense gastrointestinal discomfort, was effectively fine (if a bit low on energy) the following day, enough so that I went to work.
