Slap a nice £30M price tag on him. He's happy here and thriving on the guidance of Alex and the supply of Hoolahan. He's a humble guy and seems to be in stark contrast to Sterling but not that far behind in ability.

Nah he's over rated and useless... nothing to see here.

OK I know he will probably go to a bigger club sooner or later, but I'm hoping he will stay for another season. Like I said before, if he has a good season we could ask for more than find a suitable replacement with that money. If he goes now (which I doubt he will) there won't be time to find a good replacement with no money.

I really can't understand all the hype all of a sudden - this board is littered with fans moaning about his lack of finished product and wayward shooting!!! <doh>
 
I think Redmond is pretty good, he clearly does have some potential and I can see him playing for one of the top six clubs - probably not for another 7/8 years though, think he needs to stay at Carrow Road and develop just a little bit more.

If Redmond goes it will be soon. The kind of player he is either makes it quickly or not at all. He will either kick further on to the next level when you will be looking at a top 6 suitor and potential England call up or he will not develop further, pick up the odd knock or two and lose some of his pace or simply get found out and dealt with by the better defenders at this level and he will remain with us.

I seriously hope its the former - he has a stormer of a season for us and then he gets given the opportunity to develop his career elsewhere leaving the club on good terms and awash with cash.

I have to admit I've had my doubts about him in the past but he has really improved his decision making and end product in recent months and I am delighted to be proved wrong.

He may end up being the best thing CH did for the club.

I was being sarcastic in my last post, I do think he's a really good play and will only improve, it's only a matter of time before a bigger club comes knocking, I just hope it's in a couple of years.

I have always liked Redmond and since AN arrived, his game has improved immensely, as his goal tally since April shows. His end product from his crosses has become much better as well.

I wonder if this is true. Think of some of our mercurial players of the past who took a while to get noticed and persuaded to move on e.g. Dale Gordon, Ruel Fox, Darren Eadie, Keith O'Neil
 
I reckon of those only ruel went to a bigger club and bear in mind he left when we finished 3rd in the league and so we were pretty high profile at the time. Eadie was forced out and Keith O'Neil just faded away. I think from memory dale Gordon was pretty young when he left so I reckon the theory holds some water. Just my opinion though.

Chris Sutton certainly reaped the rewards...
 
Wouldn't necessarily say that Sutton and Redmond are both small nippy tricky winger types reliant on pace and known for beating players ...........

Ain't that the truth!!

Hoolahan is thriving under Neil's management and seems to be getting better and better with age. Howson is more influential too. Plus Dorrans is showing more of what he showed glimpses of last season. Whittaker, still criticised, but definitely improved.
