My God, the more you watch it, the worse it looks. What a dirty git he is.

If I had been the referee, I would have red carded him - and then got a gun out and shot him..........

Ok, I get that its a Chelsea free kick because Varney pulled the keeper back but Terry should really have gotten a card for that. Dangerous play and all

I'm suprised Luke Varney never lost his head.

He is such a nice bloke. Was sat in the north lower today, saw him go up to try & win the ball, he jumped and landed basically in the crowd, squashing someone (think it was a little girl). He gets straight up, says sorry & then gives her a kiss on the forehead. Brilliant <laugh>

Dirty prick, they got a free kick for this!?

Hated him enough anyway, there's absolutely no excuse for having your foot that high in the first place, let alone in a pre-season friendly. Horrible excuse for a player.

Absolutely no excuse and the ref should have sent him off. The matter of your blasheming though I leave to a higher authority. It was not necessary and it ruined for me what was otherwise a sensible point.

I think we have to accept that, as Varney's was the first infringement, the referee had little choice but to award the free kick to Chelsea. But Terry should have been given his marching orders for serious foul play. I know ref's tend to be more lenient in friendlies, but you have to draw the line some-where!

Although I very much did enjoy our 10 minute chorus of:

# Terry is a W**ker
Terry is a W**ker
Na na na na
Na na na na #

Even my german pal (this was his first english game) joined in!
