Yes Barry you are correct. I missed out the word league. Frank McPherson got his in a cup game, which Yorkie alluded to.

The best known Bridge of Sighs is in Venice, but there is one in England. Which city is it in, and what is it's proper name?

Additional info: I didn't remember about the one in Venice when there was a question in a quiz "Where is the Bridge of Sighs?", so my answer was Itchycoo Park! Given that the first line of the song was "Over Bridge of Sighs", technically, I was correct.
 
Yes I remember him very well. Big and powerful, but not very quick. Looked great among many of the players we had in those days.

As for the question, was it before Kenny Ball or after.?:emoticon-0138-think
