Well I'm too old to give a go in a literal sense......I have watched the odd game on telly and whilst i get that it is a skillful game and i know the points scoring system I can't get my head around the rules of what is allowable and what is a foul because to my untrained eye they look the same Maybe when i get the time I'll take a trip into Waterford to watch a game and take it from there......but I do agree with you Swords that when played at the highest level it can be quite a spectacle......
Not many other shocks at the moment although Burton are 1 up against Boro, Donny 1 up v Ipswich, Toon 2-1 v Northampton that would be a shock...... Pompey 1 up v Reading, Preston 1 up v Watford
You like Shinty, Swords? I believe it's very similar to Hurling, with different scoring. Have watched the final last couple of years, quite a specatcle.
Just seen Norwich's shirt tonight Anybody want to slag ours off again please log in to view this image
My only exposure to it is the mixed game Ireland & Scotland play every year prior to the International Rules. Its a good game alright. The sticks they use look like Hockey sticks
But could you understand the commentary - watch a lot of lower league football on Alba, it's hard going !!
Oh God no.......it's a bit like the Rugby Heineken Cup or whatever it's called thesedays, that's shown on the Irish Language station TG4, they don't even put up subtitles when doing the studio analysis.......the young female presenter is very easy on the eye though......
