Not wishing it on him, but you know for a fact if they spend that much he'll only end up doing his back in the first month #eggsinbasketjinx
as in a 5 year deal for that amount of cash in total? He's young enough to be seen as the option when skertl's legs fall off. I think he's also old enough he'll not be willing to wait.
Not sure, only saw snippets. Le Parisien are pretty reliable as well. Also, Lucas was due to go to Besiktas today. Move could be in doubt. I actually feel sorry for this guy - he's been close to leaving for Inter and now Besiktas but we pulled the plug twice. I like Lucas and I think he can be easily replaced but no point getting rid unless we have a replacement.
its up to lucas to fight for his place.... or wait for rodgers to get the push (might have for last 6 months already) or its up to him to go chase a game elsewhere. If he's not willing to fight for the slot then better he goes and has everyones best wishes 1. honest lad. 2. hard working 3. not a moments trouble. Jimmy you really need to reexamine your priorities as youre hard at work spinning how easy it is to replace him but wondering if it was balotellis fault or rodgers etc. I'd rather 10 lucas' than one balotelli any day of the week. I think the majority of LFC fans seem to say the same.
I just want quality. Simple as. I see beyond hard working professionals - being hard working and professional is overrated. Actual quality is far more important. Would you rather have Henderson and Lallana over Yaya Toure and David Silva over because they work harder on and off the pitch?
theres more than one kind of quality. hard working pro is a quality all of its own.... you talk like silva and yaya don't work hard. you don't see them day after day. yaya looks lazy and ill disciplined i nhis game but he's still a good pro you are bascially comparing a mario balotelli... or.... how baout this lot... barton, ravel morrison, el hadj diouf etc etc.... to real pros who are at the top cos they work hard day by day
Yaya and Silva are amongst the laziest players both on and off the pitch. They are awful trainers as well. But as I say, you still wouldn't say no to them. You can be hard working and still be quality. Using last night as an example, we've somehow managed to convince ourselves that Henderson is a quality midfielder and we can't live without him. But truth is, he wasn't missed. Why - because his main attribute is working hard. Hard working pros are a dime a dozen. If it was such a big quality, we would have kept Spearing etc.
You mean they're no good any more? Bugger, I've got loads of them- was saving them for a rainy day.....
Better than believing that both players are hard workers based on a total of zero opinions. Also, read the views of City fans who say the same.
