If they remain as they are then they're pretty pointless

Corbyn isn't some Marxist maniac despite how he is painted

If he didn't have a chance then they wouldn't be attacking him

The only people attacking him are the other candidates and their supporters because they know he is toxic. He will never get elected as PM so his promotion to Labour leader would be a disaster for Labour.

Indeed they were, as the Labour party didn't exist then. The politics to be introduced in the near future however...

What's toxic about him that you would consider a roadblock to his election?

    Honest question

Aye it does. You primarily dislike the SNP because of the OBAF Act, due to this you also attribute all sorts of imagined wrongs to them.

Politics shouldn't be about personalities but it is. Miliband knackered labour's chances because he looked like all the other politicians in the world would beat him up and steal his dinner money. Corbyn at least looks like he'd make a principled stand when the school bullies gang up on him. The other 3 candidates would just try and ingratiate themselves with the bullies.

No, I primarily disliked them because of Salmond jumping on bandwagons to win popularity, OBAF, hypocrisy, Named Person, Privatisation all came after that

Scottish Labour are dead and will continue to be as long as they are associated with the main party.

They need to cut ties fully and get back to their roots in Scotland to stand any chance of having influence in the Scottish parliament or in an independent Scotland (that will be in place by 2025).

Either that or we need a new political party for Scotland to challenge the SNP.

His recent interview regarding the Yanks in Fallujah, and him equating the US' actions to that of ISIL/ISIS for one.
