13.6% is probably average for Arsenal over the past few seasons, they've plenty of young English players who would walk into most PL teams but Arsene does like his foreigners...
We should have a financial fair play rule for every game in which over 5 players in the starting line up are bleeding foreigners
And to think of the great Arsenal sides of the 80's and 90's full of English talent! Oooh the irony!

Well that's a different question, why can't we produce any the quality of players that similar sized leagues can - given how much money the clubs and the FA has? The facilities are there.
Unlike tennis, people actually play football in the UK.
Oddball is spot on. British football is miles behind everywhere else. The reason there's so many foreigners is because our players ain't good enough, its as simple as that. Sure put a cap on them, do whatever it takes but lets not pretend that native players are up to the job cos they ain't. The national sides prove that time and again.
