Evening all. Managed to catch the City game at the airport lounge. Just about to get on a long flight to Hong Kong for some business related matters. I have seen some comments that have upset and shocked me from bitter Liverpool fans, absolutely attacking Sterling for his performance. To me this is nothing more than a compliment and paranoia because the young lad played really well. He has what seems to be a great understanding with Kolarov down the left and made some fantastic runs off the ball. Yes he was extremely unlucky not to score but goals will come when he's fully fit. Anyway it was a great win, not just the result, but the manner in which we went about things from the off. None of the other three sides many pundits have tipped to finish above us this season have looked anywhere near convincing in their first games, but the way we went about our business today was class. Sterling had a good game, promising, they put two or three men on him most of the time which made it difficult for him, but allowed Silva and Yaya to run the show (Silve immense). Happy with his debut. Yaya showed more commitment tonight than he has put together in the past 12 months. Knew we should have stuck by him. Always said that when the rest of you wanted rid.... Sergio looking a bit rusty, but got better as he settled in, hope he can up his fitness in training this week as we will need him at the weekend, with Bony, despite having a pretty solid game, still looking like he desperately needs a goal, and Chelsea are not the sort of side for something like that to come into fruition. At the back, great to see Vinny score, should do him some good, you could see how much it meant to him. Mangala too was pretty effective, if lacking a bit of composure at times. Hart looking well up for the campaign too. Obviously first game, anything can happen, but chuffed with how we've gone about things so far. Boarding the plane in about 10 minutes so speak soon guys. That's all for now. please log in to view this image
Sorry mate, I should have more respect for a captain of industry Do you reckon if he paid for 2 seats he got double meals an all like?
He's gone to Hong Kong to buy a HeShe. Even the famous Glaswegian bints won't go near this fat ****er.
So he got an assist and played fairly well, would have got a goal if he could use his left foot at all. City look good with pace on each wing and being direct.
He suits the system you have decided to play this season. Not sure if 4-4-2 is the right thing to do all season and the ability to change that when required is what'll win the league for you. At this point he's the right player in the right position for you, his inability to hit a barn door with a shotgun is going to be a problem at somepoint though.
