I don't think the issue is that Liverpool have benefited from a favourable ref decision, this after all is as much a headline as "Wednesday follows Tuesday". The Premier League have come out and slammed the pro-Liverpool culture amongst referees and this has really thrown a spanner in the works as this could mean that finally teams will be able to face The Pool on an even playing field with Liverpool's not so secret weapon finally unable to hand them the game. From what I hear pundits nationwide are changing their pre season predictions and I gather they predict this "revoulution" is very ominous for the Pool.
What's more ominous for Pool is the charlatan who 'manages' them. But yes, it would be refreshing to see a slightly more level officiating field.

I was asked not to use the term Dippers on the Dipper board and I respect that request. Previously there has been an instance of a humourless Dipper crying to the Mods about my posts and none of us want a repeat of that. Derogatory terms are used in reference to Manchester United across this forum including on the Dipper board. I don't seek them out in order to be offended and outraged.
