Surely if they're postponing the hearing after all this time they have to clarify the postponement with a reason?

I assume he's still being paid, we can't stop paying him unless we sack him.

Course we can he's broken the rules and been suspended. Why should he get a penny nevermind the 20/30k odd he's probably on?

He's not been found guilty of anything yet, in fact, he's not even been charged with anything yet.

Until he is, we have no grounds to stop paying him.

If a person is suspended on full pay and the case against them is strong, then its not unusual for there legal team to try and prolong the proceeding as long as possible, so as to get as much wages as possible out of the employer before their employment is terminated , one of the main reasons for tribunal/hearing delays is health reasons, if supported by medical reports it could be a while before its sorted.

Except for the fact he's suspended and not doing his job?

I hope we take him to the cleaners over this he best be putting all that money away safely and not up his nose.

It takes as long as it takes.

I'd rather it took longer & the process was carried out correctly rather than being rushed through & something be overlooked & coming back to bite an arse of whatever party at a later date.

Depends on the terms of his contract. And he has been charged surely?

Since there's been a few cases of it here in Aus, there were two Collingwood players who tested positive to cocaine out of season, and the hearing was only done in the last week, with both automatically suspended for 2 years. If it was in competition it would have been 4. Not sure why it needs so long when its an automatic ban. And that's through ASADA which would be representing WADA. Jake is looking at some lengthy time off, regardless of the context in which he took the drugs.

Just like when Barmby was disposed of, the Allam's people seem to be doing everything by the book, so there is no way the troublesome players can have any redress against them legally/contract wise. Jake will be on full pay pending the hearing and decision, just like the time I got suspended at work for getting my dick stuck in the lady in accounts pencil case zip

Please note, any suggestion of being a gayer in the last post is purely accidental.
