You can't help your busybodying can you?

Clearly you missed the first instance where he immediately assumed my post that the transfer window had been rubbish meant something it didn't <doh>. If you think that wasn't aimed at me, you really must be on a different planet.

Now I don't typically mind people laying into me if they disagree with a point I've made with good reason. But to lay into me because he misinterpreted what I wrote, and then to squeal that he's going to quit the forum when people throw it back at him, is simply irritating.

I would much prefer him to jelavic. He works his socks off, scores with his head, scores goals, he winds up opponents and fans with his determination and never stop hassling. He's pretty strong to, can be used out wide. I'd be happy if we were really going to push for him. With all Stokes great signings, he might be looking to move on to play.

Yeah can't disagree with any of that. He's a very safe bet and scores goals - for anything under a few million I think he'd be a trific signing

Definitely. I really like the sound of this, better than most of the strikers rumours so far.

I couldn't remember what Supers said although I remember I liked the post. I've gone back and re-read it and I really can't understand what the problem is. Even if you disagree with the content it still seems reasonable.

Whenever I read anyone saying "you need to get out more" on an internet forum, my irony alarm is activated.

I know. I waste far too much time engaging with our resident pitbull keyboard warrior.

I promise I won't react from now on. Knee-jerk indeed...

Is it just a coincidence that this comes out the day before we play Stoke and whilst he's negotiating a new contract !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having said that if we can get him for the right price and move on one of our current strikers other than Jerome, I think I'd be happy. Although like Stoke I'd rather we signed him on a 2 year deal than a 3.

I didn't disagree with the content actually. I agreed with it - you're right it's perfectly reasonable. I disagreed with the assumption about my post! I wasn't actually all that bothered as I thought it had triggered a fairly interesting discussion, but then when people say they're going to quit the forum because people have come on a bit strong on them it is irritating - either stand up for yourself or don't respond. If you don't have time to post, etc, fine to leave, but if it's because people disagree with you I think you've missed the point of the forum.

Agreed, if we are serious then I'd be happy with this, if not, then great time to unsettle a player!

I also like the sound of Jon Walters, not being one of those who say we should never sign an ex-binner. He's very experienced in the PL and would provide excellent competition/cover for Jerome. I'm getting a bit concerned about us being linked with wingers though. Is this a precaution in case Redmond leaves?

Can you kids pack it up, you are driving other people off the forum. I came back a short while ago and all I see is petty bickering. Looks like i will be leaving again. Jesus it's a s bad as the pinkun.

Get back to work, I hope you're not billing clients for the time spent composing posts.

    How dare you!?

We're generally more high-brow than the pink 'un, but probably equally irritating.

Sorry Catalan - I am conscious of that and that is why I made the promise above.

Stop bragging about your healthy family life. Check your privilege, not everyone can have children.
