But that only reinforces my point. If it's so flimsy, why not try to push it?!
Because like us they accept a player is going. But have put their foot down and said he will go after a certain point. Like what we did with Morgan,we said he woudn't leave last season and he didn't.

Even more confusing, if it was all agreed why not just complete the deal? I don't understand, the worst that could have happened is we would have a midfield 3 of Morgan, Vic & Clasie
I haven't a clue on that one.

Harry Souttar looks like being added to our Academy. He plays for Dundee Utd U20's.

We did it with Morgan.

Still not convinced by this, think it was a more "you're not leaving now unless we get a good bid for you" and people on here were saying that Spurs bid £8m which obviously wasn't good enough. If Spurs had bid 20m he would've gone last summer I believe

Haven't a clue. It's more of a feeling I have. When we are sold tho KL will get my thanx for what she has done for us.
Oh god definitely KL has stuck with us when I'm sure she could have quite easily walked away.
My only fear is she goes then there could be some instability.
You never really know who ya going to get and how/which road they will take our club down.
Personally I hope she stays

Up to you what you think at the end of the day.

What's wrong with doubt? This isn't Catholicism...

In all seriousness, a decision to sell Mane might be survivable, if it happened, but it would be a bad decision - and we have the right to doubt bad decisions, surely? However, I think everyone here trusts the board to make the best of it - but the best in this case would still have to be a disappointing admission that, even when we do not plan to sell players, we are all too easily whipped into giving them up.

As I have said twice: I am not criticising as I do not expect us to sell, but I reserve the right to criticise if they do allow this critically ill-judged move to happen.

Of course you can 'criticise'. Of course I can defend too :)

I just think that the general feel of those doing this is a little too doubtful, too early - my view that's sll. now is a little early - 2 league games. You folks may be right, but I am comfortable to give them time.

I agree that selling Mane wouldn't be good, however if it happens, so be it, and I'd hope we get top dollar and more signings.

Saints have been good at saying things that we read one way and they claimed meant something else, for example, 'we don't need to sell any players' which wasn't a lie but turned out not to mean 'we aren't going to sell any players'. However, what they said about Mane was unequivocal...he is part of our plan and isn't for sale. I choose to believe them because we need the money even less than last summer, he is our most exciting player, and it is so close to the end of the window.

One upside, if KL is indeed looking to sell in the next few years: the financial caution and the increasing TV money are going to raise the asset price of the club pretty dramatically, which will price out all but the richest insane people. Granted, there are still more than a few of those, but we're in good shape to be attractive for good owners.

A selling Katherina doesn't walk away with the staff, training ground, academy, sport sciencey stuff, black box etc either. No new owner is going to throw all that in the bin and go Tony Fernandes.

And for the hat trick of posts, can we sign Charlie Austin please. 1 minute before the window shuts will be fine.
