I've been a QPR supporter for all of my life and my family has supported them since their founding. But today was the last straw. A win this early in the season breaks tradition and is utterly shameful. Ramsey and Ferdinand's attempt at changing our tradition rich club into a "stable club" is an insult to all real fans. Bringing about a good result like this so early on in their attempt at so called "stability" just goes to show how inept they are. We need to go back to the more familiar days of chaos, such as those under better managers like Mark Hughes. If Tony doesn't sort this out ASAP I will be writing to David Cameron to ask him to deport him.
I only wanted a draw away at Wolves and he only bloody goes and wins. Enjoy the warm feelings, unless you're drinking scrumpy.
Apart from the win, the manner in which the come back came about was impressive. Ramsey has instilled some belief & fight into the players at last; more than can be said of our previous two so called highly paid managers.
It was a good result tonight and like all of you I'm chuffed about it but, I stand by my original quote that we should have Flash as our manager... please log in to view this image Why? Well listen to this... He'll save everyone of us Yes, OK I'm on my way there now... please log in to view this image
That may raise Phillips price tag, and make our Chairmen consider paying the £15m for Austin, (I wish). Good to see them putting their shift in and ignoring the EPL transfer side-show. With any luck you may even get to keep them. good luck for the season, I like seeing QPR in the EPL.
I agree. A decent away win last night, and full credit to CR and our lads. But what I'm seeing shows how important the remaining rump of our team, Hill, Austin, Green, Phillips is to our success. We could lose 2 or 3 of those in the next couple of weeks, so before we take Fernandes and Ramsey down the Uxbridge Road on an open topped bus, let's wait for the 10 game mark to give a decent appraisal
Sorry to burst your bubble but Mark Hughes does appear to be the better manager. Inept opening match and got what we deserved beaten 2-0, second match against a sunday league team won 3-0 with the kids playing, third match (first home league game cannot hold onto a 2-0 lead with last minute goal syndrome again and finally last night, second away match went 2-0 down looked like curtains and a cricket score and come back and win 2-3, Phillips and Austin as the key performers (outward bound?). That is the rollercoaster that we are, if we lose/draw at home to Rotherham what then?
Good signs last night...the fightback as much as the win....and also holding a lead for 15 minutes ....is that our record in the league???? Anyway signs of improvement....and I hope gives Chris and Les some breathing room. As there are going be some pits as welll as some peaks But we are getting our team back
Of course it doesn't but the one thing I have come to appreciate, over the last few years especially, is to enjoy the good times, no matter how few they may be! Well done The Mighty Hoops!!
