If he was in the correct position, or tracked his man, or was stronger, he would have won the header.
Very picky he may well have made that header if he wan't fouled and it then becomes good defending.

Exactly Frank, that's what makes it an unforgiveable mistake, because they've been out coaching clubs on how the rule works pre-season ffs![]()
Again you simply don't understand the game lad.Oh wow a whole preseason?
They had years to understand the old offside rule and still gave Raheem off and Mata on.

It's really tough to judge an offside like the Sterling one you chose to highlight (why?) due to the pace he was moving and the distance the ball had travelled.
For the one yesterday, it's a set piece. The lino is stood watching along the line, he can see the player is offisde, he can then see he moves for the ball and the keeper reacts, it's a new rule so should have been at the forefront of hims mind - but he's a ****ing dobbin of an official and he's ****ed it up.
It's not a setpiece. The ball had gone in, come out again, been moved around, and then crossed in a second time from open play.
Has he run 50 yards down the line chasing the play or is the useless **** stood looking along the line having moved about 2 steps? The lino made a howler but why did Coutinho go for the ball - he must have surely known he was clearly offside? He snatched at another chance in the box which leads me to believe he lacks composure in the box.
Personally, this ties into my theory of playing deeper than as a number 10 where he;s not too close to goal.

It was a blatant offside and a ****ing crap call, but it made me £180 profit, so it's all gravy![]()
nice... 3/1 plus the anytime bet too... £50 quid you bet on lfc... knew you loved us.

I like him wider left as i said where that shower of ****e lallan likes to hide out. I would play him there and open up his ability to shoot from distance or pass.
I think cotinho has a lot of development to do to find the through balls a no 10 needs to be able to like silva for instance. great dribbler, quick feet but passing is at best inconsistent.
perhaps actually passing to a team mate would help.If he was in the correct position, or tracked his man, or was stronger, he would have won the header.

Yep.Second game in?![]()
Nobody says it is.Never been a foul. If it was, why didn't they get a penalty when Skrtel rugby tackled their player to the ground? That was far worse than the hand touching Lovren's shoulder. Joke of a foul even if it did go in our favour.
Recognising that something went in our favour isn't illegal or against footballing loyalty laws you know![]()

Yep.
It takes time to bed in a lot of new players. I'm happy that we haven't played particularly well yet but have 6 points
Nobody says it is.
However supporting a controversial decision that goes your way is not bias either. It was a foul, clear as day- the fact that similar, or worse, get missed all the time doesn't stop it being a foul. Referees don't see most of them, but when they do they should give them, shouldn't they?
He got that one right. The less said about Benteke's goal the better.![]()
There is no way Lovren was fouled, he was just weak in the challenge, poor at making and disinterested in heading the ball. A simple hand on his shoulder wouldn't stop him jumping (I play CB and manage to jump/challenge when held much more than that!)

He was lucky to get at with it really. Otherwise, I think Lovren as been decent in the two games so far.
PS...Not everyone is bias but there is clearly some that are.
