Whiffle Man, 'holy big ones' thanks buddy, Nektar. I'd 100% forgot about them. Never saw them live but I played the sh1t out of this back in the day. Just played it again for the first time for must be going on 30 yrs and I remembered it like I listened to it yesterday. Gave me that warm fuzzy glow feeling I had as a teen still with love and hope in his heart. Gorgeous, thanks man
Others I was into Good to see these guys are still going (only just) TS McPhee still going too. Imo The Groundhogs, godfathers of Punk, imo.
Some more Beautiful, saw them so many times, put a lump in my throat Fantastic too Have to stop before I break the internet
Ok, just a few more and this is Steve Hillage back in 1978. Sounds so fresh. Check the whole album out, its called 'Green' I could go on for days
Think I may have put these two Aussies up before but they're both worth listening to again Tommy Emanuel, tuns of fun on a standard acoustic John Butler playing his 11 string guitar, yep, 11, he must be a fan of Spinal Tap Meanwhile, on the 9 string guitar Tosin Abasi, what he does is impossible, absolutely stunning and its not just the volume. He tours with his band 'Animals as Leaders' if you check them out, look after your ear drums. As intense as John McLaughlin and his Mahavishnu Orchestra Talking of which! Mahavishnu Orchestra featuring their man on the skins, the mighty Billy Cobham
While we're talking drummers, my all time favorite bar none, Ian Paice Here comes Dylan Elise, gets slagged off a lot but I reckon they're just jealous At work At play Aint people great But we must never forget the master
