Only half the ground open????
Cannot get my usual ticket in the loft as only Paddock , S Africa and School End open

Obviously not expecting a big crowd...

Good idea or not????
(and where shall I sit)

Seems weird that they'd shut the Loft end. Enjoy it though Beth, get a different perspective, from the paddocks.

Are we operating as a business? It seems no-one in our hierarchy has a clue about building support. If they were to use this match as an opportunity to actually fill the ground, as opposed to shutting a large section of it, they'd offer an incentive such as all tickets £10 and kids can get in with an adult for £1, we'd probably get 15,000 rather than 5,000 as seems likely...

Wow, how many years has it been since Carlisle United were in the PL or should l say, 1st Division? Any knowledge of what was our last game against them was? Without looking at Google, if my memory serves me correct, it would have to be mid to late seventies?

We played them about eight years ago in an early League Cup game. 4-0 win, Ledesma hat trick.

In that game the Ellerslie was closed and the vocal support was in the middle of the Loft which meant it was far louder even for a relatively meaningless game with a small crowd.
