what to make of the team for City? Like Jose, we don't have a lot of options so here's my 2 bobs worth

Ivan. Zouma Terry Dave
Fabregas. Matic

It will take another masterclass from Jose to get us over the line for this one I reckon.
They say to ignore first week results, so happy to do that. After a week of Jose created problems, it will be interesting to see him earn his salary and put out a team to win the game. Thats his genius. It's time to stop blaming everyone except himself and do his job.
Players really need to put in as well, and hoping for a drastic lift in form.

Only asked because I saw the exact same statement made near the start of last season, no idea who posted it though :grin:
 
Honestly can't call this one. I don't think City 1 Chelsea 3 would suprise me and I dont think City 3 Chelsea 1 would.

Who am I kidding though we will defend in our half and shut out the game. 1-1 at best.

My bet is 1-1. Having said that, your defence looked unusually shaky against Swansea.

You could be right, this match so early in the season could do anything. Reckon Jose will have had the odd quiet word with his spluttering charges during the week and cant believe they will be as lethargic as last week.
Yaya will brain our midfield unless Fabregas plays out of his skin. If Matic has to spend all the game keeping Yaya under control, then our back 4 will know they have been in a match. Young Zouma might be needed for his power and pace, wouldnt be surprised to see Jose play him and Matic in midfield and leave out Oscar.
Anyway, not long to go and everything will be revealed. Suspect Jose had a poor nights sleep after his spectacular own goal last week. This is his big chance to show everyone what is is the best at, motivation and tactics.
I'm hoping for a 1-0 win to us.
 
We have very good chance to better last season.
BUT
If Jose persists with JT & Cahill for more than 23% of matches we will not ANYTHING!!

It is like watching Lamps + Mikel partnership from 2 years ago!!
 
Taking nothing away from Kun, but that was coming.

JT + Cahill are making it easier.
