As you should know from watching Hazard, it's not all about the assists. The chaos and space created by players of talent is priceless.
Romeu about to sign for Southampton apparently. And a lot of talk about Ramires going to Juve. I wouldn't be devastated by this but would expect a replacement to be brought in. One thing Ramires does have is versatility.
Same. We cannot go through the whole season with just Oscar and Mikel playing there. Oscar gets injured and we are screwed. Cesc can move back but then we are vulnerable defensively and are stuck with who in the AM three? Moses? Cuadrado? Nah. If Ramires goes (and for the record I think he should, though I would rather Mikel **** off instead as I rate Ramires marginally better) then we need a CM aswell as a defender and a left back.
Agreed. All ends up, this window is turning into a bit of a farce. Reminds me a bit of 2 years ago when we put everything into getting Rooney...and didn't. It ended up probably costing us the title. Berkovic was a brilliant signing all things considered but would prefer to have Cech anywhere but the Emirates!
If he keeps having games like he did on Sunday, he is welcome to stay there as long as he wants Seriously though, we know Cech is class, and will come good. It's a shame he wanted to stay in England, but understandable I suppose.
I don't get it. Cech will have the same level of impact like Lamps had for City last season - Negligible to nothing. Goons will never worry me. Sunday will confirm most of the questions whether City imploding or Jose imploding.
I have to say, all this talk about Cech being worth an extra 10-15 points a season or whatever was nonsense. He was a great keeper and remains a very good one. He's not that much of a difference maker though. The only keeper to have that level of impact of late was De Gea last year. And that was only mainly due to United being so **** at the back.
Is Shakiri for 12 million the best bit of business this summer? Class player for a third of a Herrera.
If he plays as I have seen him play at times, then yes. The fact he has not really been wanted by his last two teams makes me wonder about his consistency though.
Signings like this irritates me. If Stoke, Swans, Ham can sign players like Shakiri, Ayew, Payet et al for next to nothing. What exactly our scouting and transfer team doing?? Paying almost Costa fee to Square, Salah et al Ayew will be the signing of the season.
Another one bites the dust. Had potential but injury blighted. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33890418 Good luck Oriol Romeu. Looks like Atsu will follow suit. Injured already even before officially kicking once for Cherries .
Perhaps the rest of us can give you first refusal? How dare any of us get ahead of ourselves and sign someone Chelsea want,
I meant our transfer team isn't doing right. I don't claim we should have first right to every player out there
Source report Kenedy secured Work permit. Hope this is good news for the first team & Kenedy!! http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation....a-fc-transfer-news-kenedy-work-permit-signing
Don't suppose it matters if he has a UK permit, he will most likely be loaned out anyway. Unless they loan him to a PL team I guess.
Looks like having been slapped over the wrist for FFP failings, City are about to hit spending for the summer at around 150 million (if they get Otamendi and De Bruyne). What was the point of FFP again?
http://www.skysports.com/football/n...est-in-barcelonas-pedro-amid-chelsea-interest Interesting.... Not like United to be tight. They like over paying nowadays.
Chelsea have agreed a deal with Barcelona to sign winger Pedro for a fee of £21m. The 28-year-old, who was a target for Manchester United, is flying to London to finalise terms on the transfer. The Spain international is a product of the La Liga club's academy and has scored 99 goals in 326 appearances since his debut in 2008. He will be Chelsea's second signing in less than a week after the arrival of Ghana defender Baba Rahman.
