    Reading between the lines this guy is a wonderful athlete who no doubt will do a great job. 1 goal in 108 appearances means we are looking for our goals from another source. IMO midfielders should be scoring at leas 5 goals a season. All we need now is someone like Luca Modric. Someone who can create!! Pity we didn't try to persuade Xavi to join us as that would have been an absolute treat!!

    And when we play two it means Saints are going to be very hard to beat. Who are our creative midfielders Tom because out in Mallorca I don't see a lot of Saints.

    Mane, Clasie and Tadic, though they're three wildly different types of creativity.

    I do agree that I'd place an attacking central mid above another DM as a priority, but it would appear that Koeman thinks otherwise, potentially because they feel that Clasie will grow into a more advanced role.
