As DAParker said (#3) Byrne's background is in criminal law. I know of no evidence that she ever handled transfer negotiations and contracts here. I thought transfer fees and terms were discussed by Quinn, O'Neill, Di Fanti, and now Congerton. I assumed the fine print of contracts was handled by the Club Solicitor, Lois Jarvis.

I don't remember Byrne ever being 'heavily involved' in any of that stuff.
Thanks - just r emember reading in a newspaper that she was overseeing transfers & contracts in our dark period post Drumaville - she had.nt been here that long (-may have been the Echo ---so it must be true ????w -well .........) any way had.nt relized she was in criminal law - as said alot of criminal transfers & contract deadlines occurred when she was (possibly ?) involved -
But moving on from the past - onwards pressing forward on the Advocaat express - we must keep faith - I'm sure he will sort our underperforming team out - KTF but as always with Sunderland ETU
