I said Youngs good form was closer to 2 months than 2 years. That was originally in response to Steve. I didn't ignore the games. I agree he was decent. The two before Xmas were rarities though. I've stated at least 5 times that he improved last season. That's the whole season. He was decent towards the end too. I've credited him for this but still, I don't think he's good enough and should have been moved on.

I believe you said something along the lines of Fellaini having no redeeming qualities. Yet you make no blanket dismissals... Apparently.

I also said quite a bit more about both Young and Fellaini. You clearly weren't reading. How ironic.

I brought Fellaini into it as like Young, he improved last season and was an effective player who made a contribution. He wasn't fancy nor was he anything but decent. I am thankful for both showing some guts and giving it a real go. I just don't feel like either should be here. I would rather see a couple of good youngsters given their game time going forward.

I think young had 6 to Fellainis 5 motm awards. I will try to find where so saw it.

None of us will ever know and all we can do is speculate. There is no point wasting any time on it. I have my view, you have yours. It's highly likely some will agree with you and some with me.

Of course he had a say in those, which is why Falcao was a loan (to see if he could get his form back). Nobody could predict di Maria would be such a spineless ****house.

He will be the same as Fergie, when buying he will give the negotiator a list of 3 or 4 players for each position he wants to fill with a maximum value for each. When it comes to contract renewals, length will be decided on how long he feels he will need a player.

There are enough quotes from all sides i think to suggest this is very real. Also Woodward did go over last wednesday to meet with barca officials. Apparently it's all about the Super Cup tomorrow and then the deal will be announced wednesday.

Wonder how one would describe Youngs performance.... Predictable perhaps. <whistle>

You're labouring a very tedious point and he was as unimpressive as the rest of the overpaid bunch of underachievers but at least he can point to an assist! You love assists! Or are you giving the assist to Rooney for failing to control a pass? My lad's fantasy football game are crediting Rooney for being a bit crap.

Hey, all I said was he was predictable. I'm sure had he played brilliantly it would have been pointed out, in my direction.

Mumps is no fun but a fit young lad like Neymar will be out for just a couple of weeks, more a case of isolating him from his team mates than anything else. Barca still have the rat and Messi, I think they'll manage without Pedro

Bbc - United expect De Gea to stay.

Pretty conclusive if the Beeb are saying it. Still, we won't know 100% until September. Well unless he plays in the qualifier.

Apparently he could play in the qualifier and still play for another club in the group stages. Not entirely sure how accurate that is as these sort of rules change every season.

Tbh, if he plays, he stays.

Ramos also expected to sign a new deal with Madrid. Though we've apparently done the deal for otamendi.

All for the 6th million time.

If he plays for us and we get knocked out, then he can play for another team.

If he plays for us and we get to the Group stages, then he can't play for anyone else.

Same goes for Cillissen at Ajax, he played in the qualifying matches but they were knocked out, so if we sign him he can play for us...

So long as he doesn't play in the CL proper he can still play for another club in the CL this season. If he only plays in the qualifiers he is still available to play in the competition for RM

So if he plays and we qualify that's one further bit of confirmation he could be staying?

And if he lets in a couple of doozies and gets us knocked out, I take it he'll be off :bandit:

As long as the team gets knocked out.

If he plays in the qualifiers and we get through, he can't play for another team in the group stages...
