only watched the last 20 mins but if that was anything to go by it was another underwhelming performance. I am finding it difficult keeping faith and interest in my mismanaged club.

Last 20 minutes we were pretty bad alright. Shouldn't switch off like that even if you're 3 up.

Still, for the first 70 minutes we played well and were easily the better side overall tonight

oh come on, we have gone from one extreme to another, a new look squad made up of league 1 & 2 players? I only caught the last 20 mins of this game but Yeovil looked the better team during that time.

Perhaps safer to base it on the other 70 minutes when they conceded three and the game wasn't effectively over?

As for a squad made up of League 1&2 players, Green, Onuoha, Phillips, Henry and Hoilett played today. Not like signing established stars has worked brilliant in the past for us anyway.

Have to say for a big guy Polter gets around the pitch well. His running has been intense throughout and he's surprisingly pacy for a man his size.
Someone was going to the game to see who of the new players had fire in his belly. Polter really looked to have that on the box, with the way he fought for his goal, and his running.

I thought Hall was solid and looked comfortable, hope he does against better opposition. JET was good too, especially his passing near the end when he played a 10 role.

Thats what i am saying mate, from one extreme to another. If only they would sort the bloody defence out once and for all so that we have a solid base to work from!!

Rome wasn't built in a day. Poor opposition but Perch and Hall are sensible signings. One experienced, one with potential. Both played well in a clean sheet.

Think I will avoid Yeovil, I'm scared I might get mistaken for a light snack. Would like to see Diakite, Faurlin and a couple of others start. Bit of an odd one really would like us to do well to boost confidence however it's a bit of a pointless cup for us to be in IMO.

Thanks for that Swords, is it me or does Polter seem lazy?

It's probably down to a not fully fit squad. It will get better and probably worse until then. Patience is required.

That was a good win. Potential banana skin overcome. We struggled against Yeovil a couple of seasons ago and only won 1-0 to a dodgy pen converted by Austin. The whole squad will improve as and when they understand how Ramsey wants them to play and are able to carry it into games.
