So all in all we've spent a shed load and ended up with more legs, more time on the clocks of the players at the club, more resale value therefore but probably only a few spot are really better.
All in all a better squad that can go further (5th not 7th) and might even win a cup or two in the next while... but it just lacks a real top top player to form round. We will have to see what the brazilians we have develop into.
I still say my opinion of our first 11 will give everyone a good game.

Get rid of the deadwood and replace Lucas with an improved CM/DM and this window was our window
I think we will be going in quite short of options there and stuck with a 4-2-3-1 formation i don't think suits if not.
