Next time round, when some bugger from Lords sticks his hand up when bidding to host an Ashes, someone grab his arm and hold it down!!

We should never play the Aussies again at a Lords! Ever!!!

What a difference a test series makes. Less than nine months ago poor old Clarke was the bishop's bollocks, now he is the parson's nose that nobody wants. Shame really, but the Aussies seem to be welcoming it.

So when is this next test on fellas? Have you all got your feet up thinking you'll win it? I Can understand the media over there questioning the timing of clarkes retirement.. I also understand myself why he did it at Trent bridge.. I reckon he wants to get the best result outta the team for the test at the oval and with so many question marks regarding the Aussie Team I think we'll see a more balanced performance from our fellas... I know what it's like 'going for the kill' as we won 5-0 last series so I know England will be hellbent on getting the win and polishing the series off! I just hope from our fellas that we've learnt from our mistakes, poor discipline with the bat has cost us dearly..

I didn't think he would go, and don't think he should have. I don't think you should make big decisions like that whilst so emotional!

One thing I've always admired about the Aussie team is that they stick with their captains through thick and thin. Not like us, chopping and changing every 3 days!

Me too, I was puzzled by his decision tbf.. When Ponting struggled he stood aside for Clarke to take the reigns but kept playing on for a couple years.. That was a good decision..

Wonderful result. Not at all bothered about Clarke retiring, he was a good player but everyone has to finish some day.

Really looking forward to the Oval, Mitchell will get more stick and we might just bowl them out for less than 60 <ok>

The loyalty shown to Cook has been amazing, only just starting to see the rewards now.
