So, with the top of the table being so tight this year, who do you fancy to out muscle the other two contenders for the top spot? Please post the reasons for your vote. Personally, although they have looked awesome all season, I just don't see how the other two clubs that have locked out the top of the table can compete with West Ham's squad depth and ability to spend big (if needed) in the January window. No WUMs please.
Haha, we had a thread like this when we went top last year. Can't remember exactly what happened after that but I'm pretty sure we won the league. Good luck with the title challenge, although clearly you won't need luck with your current form. On a related note, West Ham are the only side I've seen this weekend that actually look ready for the season. I guess the early start actually helped with that.
Although I firmly expected an Arsenal win, I did postulate a few times whether the greater match fitness might have a bearing. Of course later in the season it becomes an issue the other way.
Yeah, I've never realised before just how underprepared sides look at the start of the season. Our game and the Stoke-Liverpool game were really poor for entertainment but even the more exciting ones were littered with mistakes and sloppy play. Lots of improvement is needed across the board from a lot of teams over the next week.
Well if Jamie Vardy keeps up this superb from this season then I can only see the English Messi steering the Foxes to glory.
Just you wait until Andy Carroll is fit and we have a target man to lump it up to. We will have another dimension to our game. And another game in either March or April when he is fit again.
Just like to say that the Spurs board got this one absolutely right. You guys know your football. Just wish I'd listened to you lot and put my tenner on the Foxes.
