Latest bid to destabilise is the rumour that Daws will do a Sol and move to Arsenal. Given the furore over Modric, surely no one can believe we would let our Captain go to the nomads. http://www.football.co.uk/tottenham...n__tiote__enrique_and_parker_rss1724107.shtml
It's complete bollocks for sure. But hypothetically speaking, he'd do well at Arsenal. If he made the step up like Campbell did, then he could become one of the best CB's in England. I think he and Vermaelen would form a brilliant partnership.
I don't think we're sniffing around him, I think the blog is a load of hogwash. But he'd certainly fit in at Arsenal. Can't see this transfer happening for one minute to be honest, but then I would have said that same about Campbell - and he proved that crossing the NL divide can be done successfully
I don't think Dawson would play for Arsenal after Campbell received the abuse (deservedly), that said I have been vocal and warned people that think he is 100% to Spurs that he'd probably leave us if a 'bigger' club came in for him.
I also heard that Modric has now decided to go to West Ham in an attempt to win the championship, and VDV was spotted in Manchester. Bale has also expressed a desire to leave for QPR, but its ok because Messi handed in a transfer request and is dicussing terms with us for a £12m move at £17.25 per hour. In other news, scientists have been able to splice the genes of a pig and an eagle to allow pigs to fly.
I'd happily play football for a living at £17.25ph. Assuming a working week works out to about 37 hours of matches and training, of course.
It's obviously wrong. Dawson would have to get a no-mark agent who would advise him to run his contract down so the goons don't have to pay a transfer fee. Isn't that Arsenals "transfer policy" unless the player is 14 years old?
Also in the news, SAF expects huge resistance from Spurs as he attempts to sign Hutton, feeling United are short on their usual compliment of jocks.
