Outstanding in my field.
Mods- Would anyone actually like to be one?
It is quite clear the current set up isn't working. Whether not being on enough or not doing enough.

I'm more than happy to step down as I do next to nothing anyway.

But also and perhaps more importantly, what sort of board do people actually want? People 'get away' with an awful lot more than I would guess 99% of the forum.
 
It does need a re vamp mind.

We have 5 which is way more than enough. Apart from marcus the rest are hardly online anyway.

But i.ve no idea who could replace any of them..

Its a thankless task. There are not that many candidates.

Happy with our Mods but if they feel they want to change for the better of the forum then I'm all for it..
Like I said I'd keep all, but I'd also nominate

Or as an alternative, have @marcusblackcat as the one mod.. I know it sounds silly but he generally is on here the most of all mods! Like I said happy to keep all though <ok>
 
I think Sid does a grand job to be fair. He goes about modding quietly and just gets on with it. I often see posts he has had to edit. Marcus is a regular as well so yes, should definitely be kept. GG is always lurking about and comes with the furniture, shame to lose him. Indi by his own admission does sod all (fair play to him) and Defive is never about anymore and hasn't been actively posting a long, long time now.

Probably do with replacing Defive swiftly and then maybe Indi, depending if he wants to give it up and if a second person would be interested in stepping up to take his place.

You could go through the boards during the night (our night) and have them nice and tidy for us waking up <ok>

even if i spent 23 hours a day on here from a darkened bedsit in my underpants i wouldnt be a mod. it sounds too much like work to me, i come on here to relax. It would be like having a kick about with your mates on a muddy pitch but volunteering to do everyones washing once you've finished.

Mods it's a thankless task.it should be left for the more computer literate types <bubbly>
 
Even me with 1 brain cell is better then a absent mob put me down if desperate.
I would have to be sensible and control my Tourettes tho :emoticon-0127-lipss
Get them applications in boys before you end up with me<laugh>
