Was decent win mate - they only lost 2 home games last season. Worked hard and the home grown Fred Onyedinma was excellent.

Great win smashing the perennial title favs who always **** up as perennial title favs, enjoy it why it lasts though mate!
Not least on December 19th & May 7th.
The only away win yesterday in the division and we played them off the park first half, one way traffic and just pleasing how we bounced back to win after going behind.
We got what we deserved in the end for our first half dominance.

I know mate, no matter how you start it is the next 45 games that count. BUT...i've watched the Gills for over 40 years, and yesterday was one of the most awesome displays i have ever seen. Even the most critical of Gills fans did not have a negative word to say, reality is we are Gills, but IF for once we could just continue on from how we started, then the like's of Wigan and Bradford may get a tougher season from us then they ever imagined. Sheffield United brought down a decent 1,800+ supporters, I guess even your lot will struggle to top that mere formality
