I know you won't want to feel sorry for us but watch MOTD to see the worst referee ever in my memory, and boy, there's been plenty of competition!

Good point (yes we were ahead twice) but certainly sounded very encouraging.

2 good goals and tactically we did well it seems although naturally sat back more as the game wore on.

Layun might well be more suited to this level and we will certainly be competitive in midfield!

Roll on West Brom...

Is have taken a draw before the game, although disappointed given that we were ahead twice. Looking forward to next Saturday.

Don't know where to start....

Overall we should be satisfied with a draw away at Everton, two goals scored, and some good performances

I guess I am a little disappointed that we came so close to a win... but equally in those last minutes we could have lost

Difficult to assess the new players..... it was all a bit new for me! Capoue looked promising...

At times we played as if we weren't quite sure when we came forward on the break ... I am sure that will improve as the squad gels.

Our stalwarts played well : Gomes played a blinder, Cathcart was solid, Deeney worked tirelessly if a little alone at times, Anya ran and ran.... and IGHALO.... what can you say.... a great goal.

Our support was superb considering many people were delayed by road works... we were too from Leeds.

One great thing for me was to meet supporters from the NW supporters group... .that was how we got our tickets for today. So that was great.... and the club wants to help groups who have diff. getting to games etc.

Looking forward to the highlights and working out the new players!

I think those going to our first home game should feel more confident after today's performance.....

Great to see the head coach come and applaud us at the end :)

COYH!!!

Just back to Leafy Bucks and two individual mistakes cost us. Lose those errors and we'll win matches. Missed Layun's goal but saw 25 minutes of the first half. Encouraging. Happy overall. Points at goodison more rare than Lloyd Doyley goals.... COYH

A lot of decent comments from a pundit for a change. Seems as if one or two are looking into what is happening at the club for a change.

I didn't watch the video, as I watched Soccer Saturday but he seemed to be impressed that we used our power with all the big players in the right way with pressing Everton in their own half. Could we beat Pulis at his own game next week? Apparently, Capoue played better for us yesterday than he did in the whole time he was at Spurs, but I'll leave those who were there to be the judge of that. Looking at the shocker Kaboul had for Sunderland at Leicester, I'm glad we didn't sign him.

Having looked at the highlights, read the papers and listened to the pundits..... we come out of it even better than I thought.
Capoue did have a couple of good runs, Nyom looked strong but some of the upfield passes went astray. I think that was a bigger issue of players not reading each other which will get better as the squad beds in. Jurado has got some good write ups too.

I think the coach will feel quite positive after that... and if Ighalo had been fit enough to start who knows....

Maybe Joe Public can be fair.

"Well done Watford today, no doubt you will be disappointed with the result but be proud, your team played superb and your fans were brilliant. Good luck!."

"We were much better the second half and showed more buzz and urgency. I don't think it was as much a bad performance rather than Watford were good. Their fans also made it a cracking atmosphere. Really liked the look of Deeney, a strong player with an even better touch. Watford have nothing to fear this season, deffo top half. We responded well after half time and hopefully now we realise the league has actually started and it's not friendlies that we are player."

"Watford you have on his day one of the best left backs in Europe in Holebas, amazing player for Olypiakos saw him score a few screamers in his time and always played well for Greece, for me at the last World cup he was outstanding, never settled in Italy no idea why but he is a class act eats up the ground and you will love this player."

I may be old fashioned but I think this is how ALL football fans should behave! Well done! <ok>
