Blue Bayou could well be another level above most of her rivals today and I'm taking the plunge at 7/4 that she runs her race and wins. That form behind Besharah and Illuminate should be good enough to win this.
As expected Blue Bayou wins but I was hoping one of the unbeaten horses might turn out to be special. Unfortunately not
I got her phone number Of wait ...... It's the Samaritans! I'll ring 'em anyway, tell 'em all about how those wicked bookies keep taking money off me!
Typical, I back a Johnston horse that was placed at Goodwood (Mambo Paradise) and it runs like a drain. I leave alone the one that I backed that placed at Goodwood (Mustard) and it wins.
Too right Stick, and your lad made him work harder than those today in my book. I was gutted as I had backed him in all of his other races but deserted him today for the Hamdan Horse who I felt may just be a class above him.
My main bet today going in ten minutes at Ayr. Gowanharry has run well in defeat this last twice and this race lacks depth. Ayr 7.40 Gowanharry 5-2
cheers Ron, whatever I put on here lately bombs so glad one went in. Having a decent flat season so far however - no doubt give it all back over the jumps as usual.
Superb Smokey. Hop you got on. Ginger, I reckon in 9 months time you could be a busy man Shout Bluesky as well.
Cheers STH just had £2.92 ew (random figure i know, but its what was left in my PP account) at 11s but got best odds and got back £93.44 so i'm happy
He is a complex individual alright but looked far more straightforward yesterday than any time before. With the first and second from that Sandown race running such big races in good Saturday races it gives me hope that Squire may still have a few pounds up his sleeve. We go to Newbury next Saturday.
