Standard puff piece from the Record from Robert Prytz about how good Malmo are, and of course no interview with an ex player would be complete without this:

Playmaker Prytz spent 20 years in Scotland – playing into his forties with Kilmarnock, East Fife and Hamilton as well as enjoying spells in the Juniors with Pollok.

He still keeps a close eye on his adopted nation and reckons a revived Rangers would help their biggest rivals. He said: “It’s difficult for Celtic. They might have it easier to win the championship but I think it would be better for them if Rangers were competing with them. “The Scottish game needs it as well. You want to have the biggest clubs competing together and I just hope they get back to the top level soon.”

Do you not wish to see Old Firm games then Dev

Matters not a jot to me in all truth, what does matter is that the hacks are as determined as the SFA/SPFL to try and prove something that has not happened.

Armageddon.

By their reckoning several clubs should have already gone to the wall. I'm sure it is to their chagrin that it has not turned out to be as they predicted. Celtic don't need any Rangers, strong or otherwise, the trophies are being shared around evenly nowadays so I doubt any other club in the SPL feels they need matches against Rangers either, maybe they'd like the extra cash that one or two home gates would bring but there are other benefits, such as a bite at Europe.

Celtic will eventually be challenged but it does not have to come from Sevco

Everyone bar Sevco are looking to live within their means and that can only be a good thing

Today's Sunday Mail Fail

They had a poll asking if John Collins was right:

JOHN COLLINS last night claimed Scottish players aren’t good enough to give Celtic the preparation they need for the Champions League.

The Hoops No.2 insists his team have had to learn how to defend against better opposition on the job in Europe because players in the Premiership don’t have the sharpness or smarts to challenge them.The champions shipped 23 goals in 14 games on the continent last season but conceded just 17 times in their entire league campaign.

The poll options and voting results were:

A: He's right 33%
B: He's right but why say it an motivate the opposition: 33%
C: Nonsense, this is proven by Celtic's failure to win a Domestic Cup last season: 33%

<doh>

The Poll seems now to have been removed, one can but wonder why.
