Whatever Essex did to Dawson, thank you. He has ben sensational in this competition for us. Hopefully he takes it into the 4dayer on Friday.
 
Good, and important, win after yesterday's defeat.

One win from our final two games will almost certainly see us qualify. And if we get awarded a second point from the Glamorgan win (which I still think we wont), then one win from our final two games will absolutely see us qualify.
 
Hampshire Cricket can announce that Jimmy Adams, Michael Carberry, James Vince and Adam Wheater will all join Essex on a joint emergency loan deal.

We can hope Fran, but the way this series has gone i wouldnt bet on it ! It will be a really big deal if England can win without Jimmy in the side. Pity as this ground is tailor made for him, but thats life Jim !
