Hasn't been fit in 3 years. ... bet he can't wait to see the even older Carrick hold him out of the team eh?

How many insults from van Gaal will it take from him to **** off

Yep, like many of United's under achievers he has quite a few title medals in his pocket and some European junk too. May as well carry on that way this late in his career <ok>

If he ends up like Di Maria his pile of medals won't be made any heavier by his stint in the toilet

Of course he does, he is German and has a spine. Most others go for the easy life in Spain, France or America, he has backed himself to succeed in the hardest league in the world where many other top players fail.

Or he's looked at Di Maria and seen that just one year on the bench at Old Trafford gets you upwards of £10m cash in hand

Jack Wilshere is facing ANOTHER lengthy lay-off after scans suggested his latest injury is much worse than expected.

Wilshere has a suspected hairline fracture in his left fibula (the smaller of the two bones that make up the lower leg), which would be yet another shattering blow for the Arsenal and England midfielder.

Injury-jinxed Wilshere has undergone a series of scans and is still hoping that he will not need surgery, which would keep him out for three months.

The 23-year-old has his fingers crossed the knock will not turn out to be as serious as recent setbacks, but it is still likely to keep him out for a minimum of six to eight weeks.

It is understood he will get a final verdict before the weekend on whether he will need to go under the knife.

Again <yikes>

Ahh, glass Jack.

(stop derailing the thread <grr>)

This Wilshire injury thing is becoming ridiculous - mate of mine at work thinks there is more to it and he might actually be a coke head or something.

Isn't there a rule that if you fail a drugs test in your own training facilities you only get banned for 3 months or something and don't have to disclose it ? Much better to say he has 'suffered yet another injury set back'

I doubt Wenger or the club would put up with that. His ankles are fcked, simple as. Shame as he could have been a great mf.
