Chelsea have not improved. City have got worse. Arsenal have bought a keeper yet still have their defence, arsenals defence.

We've done the best business of the top 4 (last season).

Those pundits really out a lot of thought into this. [HASHTAG]#bbc[/HASHTAG] licence fee

Shame you've not bought a CB, you keeper cries himself to sleep at night thinking about Madrid, and you've binned off 2 strikers and replaced them with ermmmm - no-one.

Even so, we've still done far better business than signing Falcao (our reject), sterling (<laugh>) and cech (best of th rest by far).

We also signed a forward, brought another back from loan and de Gea to Madrid has never been anything more than Spanish pipe dreams. They've even got the fat waiter talking up their current crop of crap between the sticks. Safe to say it's over.

Yep, we really needed a centre back, our goals against was only 1 better than Citys and 1 worse than Arsenal.
The two strikers we binned off helped us to score 21 less than City, 11 less than Chelsea and 9 less than Arsenal.
I think it's obvious where our problem lay, hopefully Hernandez and Wilson can score more than the two outgoing players and Memphis should chip in with a few like Lukaku and Benteke.

I think Utd will be hard to beat with layers of defence but...... I think cb and St needed.

Liverpool need lots more work but we are in a better position now. Especially when the 3 real dead wood go we will then be looking at a few guys who can play 10 games like Lucas and Allen and Toure to go was we bring in better.

The rest all give us 2/3 years of options before any will be called more dead wood

A few days before the season starts? You think we will sell de Gea?

I very much doubt it. Once the seasons under way it's not happening. Full confirmation will come when we play the cl qualifier.

Think confirmation will come before that.. if he doesn't start the first game of the season, he's likely to be off..
Even more so if he doesn't play in the Qualifier, so has not to Cup-Tie himself..

Really shows the weakness in uirs football knowledge.

Arsenal's defence?

It was badly affected by injury last year. The year prior it was actually pretty ok.

Bellarin and more Al are effective full backs and Bellarin adds huge pace. Koscielny adds hugely beside mertesacker

Put cech behind that and coqueilin in front?

Sorry but I don't see them throwing goals in at all... the main achillies heel they have is injuries

He will almost certainly start the opening game.

I think at this point real have dumped Mr Casillas for this move so it's a case of Mexican stand off and who blinks first.

The issue Utd have is de gea might not act as professionally as assumed and they will be looking at him and thinking is he throwing one in today and all the while January and a pre contract gets closer and closer.

The reality is however the thought that utds current state of affairs in goal without de gea doesn't look sustainable for a full season. That is cos Valdes has been dumped for whatever reason. The signing ain't all that and lindgaaard is a second string

He's played a straight bat in public, not kicking off a stink.. but "IF" he doesn't start the first game, then... writing is on the wall me thinks!
Without him, your defence would have let in a good 10-15 more goals last year.. Far be it for me to praise Utd players, but he's been the best goalie in the league last two seasons!

Arsenal have always been open to the quick counter. Cech has never been open to a quick counter due to the way in which Chelsea defend as a unit. Cech had layers of protection at Chelsea in a style commonly referred to as parking the bus.

Arsenal will at times, leave only one man back. Cech will have a hell of a lot more to do than he's had for a long time. De Gea showed he could play for any club on earth last season. He's got the patience to get through matches we dominate, games he makes only one save. But he can also excell in games where we are the underdog. Where we are under constant attack.

Whether cech can do that, remains to be seen. One things for certain, arsenal have the best keeper they have had in decades.

We all know, in the end Real, if they want you, they get you!
Iker wouldn't have been sold/moved on if there was no chance of getting DdG!

Madrid have two keepers, one of which was signed only recently (casilla).

So Casillas has already been replaced.

3 days before the season starts, he's going to wear the number one shirt against Spurs.

He may well leave next summer but Madrid have been told how it will work if there is any chance of him going this summer. We want Ramos and Navas. Real have said no.

Casillas was replaced. It was big news in Spain.

Casillas leaving also left a bad taste in many players minds. Ramos wants out, Ronaldo doesn't like the fat **** in charge and half the squad are pissed that Ancelotti was sacked.

Things are far from rosy at the circus.

Well, like MITO wrote.. even if he does start, will be interesting to see how he performs..

They laughed in your face you mean and in reality ramps mugged you off to get a better new contract so you now are short at the back and all

<ok>

Any more dreams you've been having?
