The problem with Borini is that he thinks he is Real Madrid level when he is really more of a Real Salt Lake level.
Di Maria all but signed for PSG then. £40m is decent amount given his poor season, wonder if they'll go splash that on another top forward or defender.
Liverpool are considering a number of loan offers from Championship clubs for highly rated 18-year-old attacking midfielder Ryan Kent. (Liverpool Echo) Everton fears grow over losing defender John Stones, 21, as Chelsea prepare a third bid approaching £30m. (Daily Telegraph) Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez says forwards Bale and Karim Benzema will stay at the club this season, despite interest from elsewhere. (AS) Wales forward Bale is confident he will win trophies with Real this season if Benitez continues to play him in a central attacking role. (Guardian) Liverpool have been cleared to complete the signing of Alexandre Lacazette, 24, after Lyon reportedly told the striker he can leave. (L'Equipe)
Fiorentina are a strong-ish Italian side - other than money, can't see why he wouldn't want to go. Better offer than the mid-table PL clubs we wanted to shift him onto. Still can't believe we were offered £14m for him in Jan.
So Citeh.........Jovetic gone,Dzeko on his way..........there is going to be a major signing coming in (or two)..........wonder who
Am just hoping it takes them time to bed in, much like the season before last....gives us an outside chance!
Who would be happy with this signing, don't know that much about him myself, but it would give us 2.5 decent strikers. I'm ignoring Borini/Balotelli and counting Sturridge as a half due to injury record. This must be better than last year, surely.
Benteke and Origi plus Sturridge. Ings does nothing for me except he runs around a lot. Might be the next Dirk ? Jury still out on him as far as I can see.
New Reds deal and loan switch for Ojo 4th Aug 2015 - Latest News please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Sheyi Ojo has today signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool – and also joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on a youth loan until the end of the season. The 18-year-old, who scored the winner in Sunday's 2-1 friendly victory at Swindon Town, has committed his future to the Reds by putting pen to paper on the deal. He'll spend 2015-16 on loan at Wolves to gain some first-team experience with the Championship side. Ojo joined Liverpool from MK Dons in 2011 and was named as a substitute for the first team in their Premier League matches at Leicester City and Burnley last season before a loan stint with Wigan Athletic. The forward figured for the Reds during their summer tour of Thailand, Australia and Malaysia.
That's doing it the right way..... sinclair gets nothing cos he won't sign. Ojo gets a new deal which makes him worth something and then he gets his season loan. Take note sinclair..... I'm much happier than last year with the loaning and contracts. Ryan kent will be next.. long queue for him.
