He's only just joined so how can he have? Your opinion was that he might struggle against PL defences (don't make me go back and quote it) and this is arrant nonsense because he's been doing it for a few years now.
Whether he fits in with LFC is a different argument.
As for his price tag, well any fool knows it's not an evaluation of his worth relative to other players, merely the price you have to pay to get him.
Not his fault, or Lukaku's.

Because my original post never offered a bet of any sort. But if my rival is happy that one of the two charitable causes will see a donation then I am happy with that<ok>

What happens if they score the same? You both donate to the others choice I assume...?

The bet was that they would outscore the other after all :)

Get down the bookies, but people tend to read between the lines. So I accepted his bet<ok>

Would be nice to see the winning goals scored by Lukaku against Sunderland - think that game is around April time? ;-)

Where I come from (<whistle>) using the phrase "Well you should put some money where your mouth is<laugh>" would be classed as challenging someone to er....."put their money where their mouth is" :grin: You might not have strictly offered a bet but you certainly invited the bet to be offered.

However...seeing as you manned up (in the end) I will match FD's tenner to the charity of his choice if Benteke scores more than Lukaku <ok> Don't ask me to do it the other way round if Lukaku wins though <laugh>
