His wages would be way way too high but I would love to see Mario play for Norwich.
He may be a bell end and probably Insane but he Is world class .
Liverpool would probably loan him out and pay half his salary to get rid of him right now .

We know the players have relegation and promotion clauses in their contracts. A mate has just claimed that the relegation and promotion percentages are the same.

That means, for example, that if Bassong were on £40,000 per week in the PL with a 30% relegation wage cut/promotion wage increase clause:
- his wages would be reduced to £28,000pw (40k x 0.7) in the Championship
- then on promotion they would go to £36,400pw (28k x 1.3)

Meaning the players essentially get a pay cut in the same division... Any idea if that's true?!?

I would be fairly sure that anyone on their original contract will have return to their previous wage, I'm guessing your mate isn't as clued up on the way percentages work. It could be true that the ~30% cut that was written into players contract signed in the PL for relegation is reversed for new players so Jerome for example just got a 30% increase.
 
It may be the case that a smaller club such as ours would suit the ego of balotelli. He would be the big fish in the small pond and get the sort of hero worship he seems to need to perform. Yes he is bonkers and random and will probably get a couple of stupid red cards per season but he has a vast amount of ability. Never ever happen of course as his ego demands champions league football but I reckon if he went to a smaller club he could become a legend.
 
There was a Ukrainian article I saw, translated of course, saying he was annoyed I hadn't gone through than that he had an agreement he could leave. He also said he was very interested in joining us and posing in the PL.
