I won't give away my squad just yet but I will say it contains:

3 from Chelsea (mea culpa)
2 from Spurs
2 from Swansea
2 from Leicester
1 from Arsenal
1 from Mousers
1 from City
1 from Stoke
1 from West Brom
1 from Norwich
 
No Kane No Gain

... and no ****in' Chelsea or Arsenal either <ok>

I'm flip-flopping on Clyne at the moment: at first he wasn't in my squad, then he was...and then I remembered Liverpool can't defend worth **** so it's unlikely he'd get as many points as last season so I transferred him back out.

He'll probably be in and out at least once more before the season starts...

I've joined.

I don't put any Spurs players in my team for fear of jinxing them. Therefore, I try to put lots of Arsenal and Chelsea players in :D - that way, if they do well in real life, then at least I score points...

Keeping the Colonel Getafe name from last season as it acted as a good luck charm, helping me pick up £500 in a private league I was in :D

Evening lads,

I'm looking for a cheap 5th midfielder who actually plays 90 minutes weekly, but will just be sat on my FPL bench.

Bentaleb is £4.5m.

Is he anywhere near a nailed on starter for you!?

Yes. He's probably our first choice at the moment and I doubt any signings will change that too drastically.
I doubt he'll score that many points though, as he doesn't score often or get many assists.

That's fair enough, I wouldn't expect a £4.5m midfielder to get many attacking returns.

But a decent 2-3 points when I need him is always helpful!

Told you all I'd change my team, it now stands:

Cech,

Bellerin, Terry, Ivanovic

Chadli, Hazard (c), Silva, Payet

Kane, Deeney, Wilson

I've been looking at ways to pick a few players who I think may not be picked up by others but could score some nice early points in the first few games. Payet apparently created the most chances for his team mates out of all of Europe's top 5 leagues so I'm hoping he'll pick up a few assists and I'll be putting my faith in the two new promoted strikers to try and follow in Charlie Austin's footsteps.

It's a risk but to hopefully separate yourself from the rest and gain a lead you usually need one or two lads to excel that nobody else will pick (state the obvious, SoS!).

Schwarzer, Schneiderlin, Kaboul and Steven Taylor are on the bench.
 
Didn't get a chance to sign up to this league but I'm already in the top 150,000 overall so SOS better get his team sorted.
 
Harry Kane is subbed out for Aguero and Ozil out for Sanchez which means Kane and Ozil likely to score at weekend! But I think you have to have Aguero and Sanchez in your team this season so getting them in early.
