Seriously cannot stand Australia - it was so good once they lost their world class players and were humbled, and stayed quiet. But once they found a few good players and started performing again, they got all mouthy.
conditions very difficult. very dissappointed with buttler.. very very poor. no defense at all to spin. england to be lucky to get a 100 lead now. Have to say the thing is I'd be chomping at the bit to come out and smash this lot for 50 more and get bowling again. I can see us having 150 score to win at worst. and more like <100.
got the 100 now... i said i'd be delighted with 150. I can't see it right now. loads in this pitch for all our bowlers... Cannot see aussies getting 300 on this again... if they get 200 i'll be amazed. the spin is doing a lot.... ali and broad don't look amazing against it. if we get to tea i'll be amazed.
Well 110 already, as you say, pitch is doing loads.. Aussies will have to bat well to get a 100+ lead! Jimmy's sitting their licking his lips at the sight/state of this pitch and overhead conditions.
They have played and missed at a few, so, still not easy to bat on, been a bit of luck in Ali's knock.. him and Broad need to keep milking it for as long as they can! Edit.. great pull shot by Ali there!
