I'd be very happy if we got up to around 300 with a 1st innings lead of over 150. That should be good enough to go on and win. And even if we do win which is still a long way off then Lyth needs dropping.
But i hope we don't hand the iniative back to them by being bowled out for just over 200. That could easily happen but it just takes either Root, Butler or Stokes to get a good knock and we'll be ok...

Can't have it all our way mate, that's what separates the Ashes from any other test match.. The Rivalry between us never ceases to amaze me. Love this Edgbaston crowd too! You know what I wish wood was playing too cause Finn was obviously pissed right off not playing and from what I seen last nite he was doing a fine job! Remember 2005 and you's made 407, we replied with 308 then bowled you's for 182.. Yes we lost in the end by 3 runs I think but I have/hope this test match may turn out like that one!

Aye 2005 was class to watch - one One of my favourite test matches ever!! Most exciting, nerve wracking! But amazing!

You predicted what has happened so far mate! Although it's not even half time yet but we're ahead on points - if you bowl us out for 200 then it's back in your court!! My chickens are not counted yet as I know how good and bad we are capable of being!

Happy if we can bat out most of today and stick you into bat just before close of play with a lead of 300+ then I think we'll win! if you bowl us out cheaply then I think it'll be tight and may be over before Saturday one way or the other!!
