What's the hold up been? I've seen a couple of rumours on twitter that he had a toe problem similar to the one that ended Lineker's career!
I think it just takes longer that we think. Even once the terms are agreed and medical completed the contracts then need to be drawn up (of course lots of it will be boilerplate), reviewed, amended, signed. This just takes time even though the deal is done.
Yeah that's not a bad call actually, he was really highly rated a few years ago and that's what I was probably basing my comment on. Pretty difficult to argue against the fact he's been largely disappointing the past few seasons, relegated in the last two certainly doesn't bode well - and didn't he get in trouble with the law for something or other?
This Brady saga has gone on too long and now there will be plenty more twist and turns http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/american-football/33703924

I can't give a definitive answer because I simply don't know, but my understanding is that there's been no hold up.
Well I think we can all say thank god that's all over. New one here: http://forzaitalianfootball.com/201...rwich-city-in-pursuit-to-sign-cesena-striker/ Don't know anything about him
Superman, do you do scouting or have knowledge of how young players are scouted in the region? Just like what sort of events are scouted for example league games, tournaments etc.... My little boy is doing some kind of football thing at Carrow Park in the summer holidays, that's all. 2 of our players in the under 7 first team have been selected for the PDC and even though I coach them I have no idea where or when they were scouted!
Whilst Vital Norwich are calling Defrel a striker, by what I can find, he's more an attacking midfielder or second striker, who can play anywhere along the 3 in a 4-2-3-1. Southampton, Swansea and Everton were apparently interested earlier in the year. 9 goals and 6 assists last season for a side relegated from Serie A is respectable, and he's only 24. His season before that was less impressive though. He looks quite handy here: So not sure he'd be competition for Jerome, rather he'd add to the crowded midfield options to play off him. £6.5m doesn't seem an outrageous price.
That's €6.5m DH, not quid. Not sure of the exchange rate but at a guess around £4.5m, which seem a fairly reasonable figure.
Shhhhh... A mate has just texted me claiming it's around £4.5m plus Snodders debt w/o plus about £1m in add-ons. If any of that is true it sounds like the total could end up well north of £7m in total, based on the rumoured amount outstanding on Snodders. Anyone able to back that up? I have no idea where my mate gets that from. I still think we've overpaid, but I guess it doesn't matter as long as he's a success. Bit like buying a house. Hopefully we'll see what he can do on Saturday? I like the look of Defrel, though he seems to be a (less prolific) version of Hooper as a second striker and if there's nothing in the Hooper rumours seems unlikely?
Google tells me that's an excellent guess as EUR6.5m is around £4.576m at today's exchange. Like holidaying, players on the continent should feel a lot cheaper with how low the Euro has plummeted
Great chart - makes me think our key position to sign is GK! I think you could argue that Grabban and Lafferty can cover LW and Hooper could also go in the attacking midfield box
Excellent chart, JK. I was thinking about this earlier, but your chart makes it easy to see how flexible and large our squad is.
