.......and of course if we went back a month or so and gave you the choice of Romero or Bogdan on a free, you'd have chosen the Bolton reserve every time like....

Yeah why not? Because he lost the World Cup and then lost the Copa America?

Opinion in Argentina is that he's their 3rd best gk though... And didn't they lose in the final... I could have played and had the same outcome <whistle>

im not saying bogdan is awesome just that Romero hasn't played consistent club football for the last 3/4 years so maybe not all that he's made up to be.

To be fair Romero is largely unknown, Argentina aren't full of world class keepers. That said, Astro you're a lunatic <laugh>

So you're seriously expecting anyone (let alone yourself ffs) to believe that given the choice on a free transfer - between the Argentine National keeper, who played in last summers WC final - and Bogdan a Championship sides reserve - that you've have chosen the latter?

    **** off <laugh>

He's patently the better keeper with the better record. Attempting to argue otherwise is solely driven by the fact he's signed for United. It's a nonsense argument.

Yes I've clearly explained if someone's going to be a backup keeper since everyone even Van Gaal admits Romero is too ****e to start then I prefer the guy who has more experince of the actual competition he'll be used in and doesn't have a history of ****ing up when called to fill in.

    It's not difficult.

He probaby is better. But is he good enough to challenge for first team spot which was the original point.

The fact he hasn't challenged at Monaco or Sampdoria suggests not.. And I don't think bogdan is either just before you throw that at me.

Mweh on the second keeper. As long as he's good enough to fill in the reality is they are rarely the equal of the the number one and thus true competition never happens..

As for Balotelli, it's all guess work regarding his attitude, effect others etc..but while I'll happily blame BR on losing all idea about the shape of our team last year, he tried everything bar five aside. So to say its as obvious as Jimmy claims seems dubious in the extreme.

Seriously imagine it, the pressure keeps increasing week after week, Balotelli has put in yet another blinding week in training, him and borini stuffed the first eleven with their two up front but BR went "**** the job" I'm putting him up alone again?

Doesn't track with his other actions....

As for losing money on bad buys/errors? Who cares. We give a **** if the players don't get us trophies (check, done that already) or if the owners say they can't afford any new buys (haven't come out with that crap for a while). So if they are an error, failure call it what you will.., lose the money get rid and focus on what works instead of beating a corpse.

If he goes for that price surely he goes down as a bigger flop than Carroll?

    It gets better.

Bodgan has played half a season in the PL, a season that saw his side get relegated having conceded 77 goals. He's not played at the top level for 3 years......

But you'd still take him over a player who played in last summers WC final.

Course you would love, it's not like you're just being a bitter kopite or talking **** or anything is it.....

    No, purely logic <laugh>

Next time Liverpool are playing a World Cup final in South America I'd gladly take Romero over Bogdan <ok>

I'm sure Romero was key to them getting to the final too, it's not like they had Messi or something <laugh> Oh wait...

Shame Di Maria got injured wasn't it I mean if he'd also lost the World Cup final he'd be a far better player than anyone and would have a Man Utd career

Oh right, so the Argies could have had a blind, deaf, pigmy mute in goal and they still would have made the final - gotcha <ok>
