Hello fellow forum members.I see there has been some money down for one I mentioned last week for the Galway Plate called Alelchi Inois 10s into 8s.My mate knows one of the owners and they reckon this lad could go off much shorter on the day especially if there is any sort of decent ground in the description.Trained by the genius that is William Mullins I will be very dissapointed if this lad doesnt place so ive had a decent Ew clip and will go in again on Wednesday morning depending how much rain mother nature decides to throw down
Thanks for the reminder Ste. The only one I'm very keen on tomorrow is Bachasson in the opener for Ruby and Mullins. Loved his hurdles debut. Looks very classy to me. I think the Weld horse will need to be a grade one horse to beat him.
I took 2/1 with Paddy. Could be egg on my face tomorrow at half 5 but that's my biggest bet in months.
Yep, I've backed him too Ste but the forecast must be a real worry. This horse was an absolute cash machine last summer/early autumn on good ground, he'll be facing very juicy conditions come race day I suspect. On the contrary, just to be original with my selection I'd say Mullins' Diakali for the Hurdle won't mind the going. I backed him yesterday at 9s, he's being smashed up today. I think he could be Christmas come early, this is a Grade One horse off 153 (I think) and I generally be tentative in handicaps I'd be surprised if this ones beaten. Modem 10/1 has a fair chance in the 6.50. Watch its last race, a real 'not too far job' if ever I've seen it for the lovely Mrs Harrington. Like Bob I like Bachasson 2/1 in the opener but Welds runner did run the Ascot Gold Cup winner to a length at Chester last time out.
Mullins has a nice line through Whiteout so i expect the two favs will swap market positions by the off time. Might be totally wrong but he won his hurdle debut like a proper tool.
If the other one drifts surely you have to be thinking of covering it for your stake? Welds record in the race is 6 wins in the last 11 runnings and the horse is classy
Tony Martin is worth following chaps. He had an awful lot of winners last year. Fewer runners than Weld and the Master often takes a massive percentage of the market which opens up the Martin horses as opportunities.
Big fan of Tony Martin too very under rated. Oisin Murphy has one ride all day tomorrow - unusually off to Ayr for the first race to ride a Mrs Duffield horse who herself is in very good form the last week ( 3 winners today too i believe ), a horse owned by Qater Racing too which is why I'd imagine Oisin is on it and not P Mcdonald. Has been pretty average in the 2 runs he's had, and the last 7-8 times Oisins gone for one ride somewhere he's not won a single time. So this has kind of put me off, but at 12/1 can anyone give me the faith back to back it
Bob I must be losing my marbles but I still can't see this horse in the opener let alone WALSH/Mullins.
Is it a non runner? Or is it the Sportinglife website. Number 2 does not exist and it does not appear to be a nr either. Have a look.
