Now that would be a really nice surprise heading towards retirement with no savings, other than work & fed govt pensions (2008 financial meltdown, plus 5 kids, 3 now away at uni will do that to you). But I wonder if there is a statute of limitations for claiming premium bond prizes? Do they still exist, we used to buy them at the post office - govt had your money interest free, but dished out regular prizes, so not a bad "investment" concept as opposed to wasting your money on lottery tickets or gambling? In my possession I have 3 @ £50 and 1 @ £10 bought in 1971, 1972
You can actually cash them in and get your money back. I don't believe that there is a deadline to claim your prize.
