think Hendo is probably going to have to accept that some people have defined him forever on that first season realisation that he was never, not even in a thousand lifetimes, ever going to be a replacement for Gerrard. Not that either he or Kenny ever said he would!
He wasn't as good last season as he was in 13/14, but who was? Some of his passes and flicks around the box are completely underestimated, as his ever-increasing range of long passes. But while his finishing, when through, is okay-ish but not special, compare him to Lallana in the same situations and he becomes Gerd Muller.

I think Enrique will be gone come end of August. I would like to see Balotelli in the squad, he has been made somewhat a scape goat for last year even though he didn't play an awful lot. Although his attitude can be fairly criticised (he did fake illness and what have you), but this was argubly down to how he was treated. I feel he deserves another chance.
I would persoanlly like to see someone in the defence being excluded in order to free up squad places in order for this to happen. For one I am not sure Flanagen will be avaialble for selection this season and secondly I don't really rate Toure..
I saw a massage about balotelli today... apparently behind the scenes he has been a complete nightmare.
Balotelli is a complete waste of a position and money. Would far rather we give Ings every opportunity to shine than waste time on Balotelli. He's shown that he just won't/can't play how we want him to play and has had far more game time than Borini and Lambert - both of whom I'd prefer stay over Balotelli.

I can't see how he was badly treated. I think everyone bent over backwards to get him to fit in- he just has an attitude problem it seems.

Henderson had a lovely passing range on him - when Gerrard wasn't playing - and often spread it around the pitch. He's capable of balls over the top and through as well when he's got runners in front of him which he will do with Ings, Sturridge or Origi.
He had a poor season, but so did everyone. I think he's very under rated technically as a player because he doesn't dance around players like Coutinho might, but he can play.

and the deeper he is the less he has to trun then play.
jimmy has pointed out coutinho's style. i don't particularly like Henderson ahead of the ball trying to turn as he's like a bus.
If he is in line with ball or behind able to take it and make it work he is better.
Its not all about lung bursting runs into the box.
