Furlong + ? right back Yun, Kwepaka.....Traore left backs Chief, Caulker CBs......Hill, Henry back up (can't see Henry getting much of a go in midfield if Ramsey is going for the sort of approach I think he is) Only 2 short, a RB and a CB. Of course the quality is a bit dodgy.
I assume Harriman can be recalled if needed and wouldn't be surprised if Schorch is given a short term deal.
Haven't we been here before, the fans can see bl**ding obvious but the management/club decide to re-enforce areas which aren't a priority
Key position is DF midfield and we have the best in Henry Sandro staying ? Then he can play CB as can Hill Having watched the match last night it looks good Energy in midfield is paramount and we need eight squad players there It's where the games will be won Goals win games more goals than you let in and we are looking lively as anyone can score from our midfield The best form of defence will always be attack IMO exactly how we grew when we won it last Let them worry about us IMO Last thing this club needs is to revert to a culture of sitting back and containing teams that was Harold's way . I am certain that players have committed or are committed by club policy YSY will be outstanding at this level Furlong looks good NO will be a giant in this league as captain and Caulker will come good if he stays but he is worth 10m We look strong so far so why pick names out of the air ?
Before people worry about getting defenders in too much, Bournemouth last season both centre backs played all 46 games in the league. Consistency is more important that depth. At their ages, both Onuoha and Caulker should be fit enough to play every game.
Remember when we went up with Connolly and Gorkks as our CB's (almost playing every game) with ****tu providing the back up? Agree with El Nino, Onouha and Caulker need to stay injury free and we've got a solid pairing at Championship level there.
I respectfully disagree (about Caulker, not your poo). I think he's just had a bad year. Caulker played for Swansea, Spurs and Cardiff in the PL a lot and clearly performed well enough to get an England call up. I think he had a blip year under a bit of misguidance, and i'm hoping he can resurrect his form this season. It's a big year for him, I think he knows it.
I don't know what the worry is about Geen. Other teams have to get through our 8-man midfield first!!!
